My feelings at the moment
I don't know anywhere else to post what I'm feeling right now. Facebook is way to public. Everyone can see it. My sister follows me on tumblr so she'll probably see it. Twitter's fine, but the limit sucks. So here is the much safer way of blogging. Not really harsh feelings. It's just that, I love my dad but there's this one thing I don't like about him. This is not a fathers' day post or whatever. Well, I must get to the context of my blogspot url. A while ago, my dad told my brother that he'll join the next race this weekend. I'm okay with my brother joining but my dad said that they are just three who'll join on my brother's division, Mini-ROK. So by three, whether he is slow or not, he'll still win a trophy. He did that on the race last april, he just showed up, joined the race, and he win 3rd place, since they are just 3 in the race. Then, my dad on the otherhand, joined three classes (Novice, Veteran & Overall) on his division, SQ class. They are usually three at the Veterans class and if he do good, he'll prolly get podium place at Novice class also. So, he would still win at least one trophy. I don't just feel like a loser on the track, also to my family too. I understand that i'm still new to this and still gaining experience, but I feel something else. It's just unfair. I feel like a total loser. I was the only one who was supposed to join races at the first place. I feel like a loser that I'm the only one on my family who could not at least reach at least the 5th place to qualify for a podium place and get a trophy. They just don't understand that their categories are just plain easy. Meanwhile, mine, on my division, Formula SL, we're about 18 racers in one race. Against champions and experts. And at least 20-25 laps per race. One time, they want me hold their trophies and join the team's group picture with the winners. I refused to, because I only want to hold the trophy that I won fair and square. Not on by default.
I know, you may be thinking I'm just up for the winning at the trophies, I am definitely not. I just want to make my family proud, especially my mom & dad. At least I could make them proud again and be someone my parents would like to be proud of.
Call me shallow, but that's the way I roll.

Shoes appreciation post
Besides my love for dresses, tops and accessories, I ALSO LOVE SHOES.
Like, this past two weeks, I bought three pairs of shoes. Haha. I have over ten pairs of shoes. I borrow some from my sister and from my mom since we nearly all have same shoe sizes.
These are some of them and some of my favorites. I used to love my Rubi Gold flats that I bought during our trip to Singapore last year. But since I use them so much, I had out-used them hehe.
The problem with me is I'm the only one on my family who had flat feet and it's kinda hard for me since I became more sensitive on footwear since some of them are not suitable for me because I have a fallen arch and the left part of my right foot and the right part of my left foot almost touches the ground and causes that part of the shoes to touch the ground also.
I just bought my most wanted pair of shoes recently and I never though I would find them here in the Philippines since I found some on websites and it nearly made me tempted to buy it online for almost 5,000 php. But the ones I found here just costs almost 900 php and it's a relief.
Also, I love Mary Jane flats. Hihi. Thanks dad for buying me this! (Mom was not around that time haha)
Laced-up Mary Jane flat, Kids Of Bayo
I love flats. And this next one was bought by my aunt, about two years ago, at Australia and I still wear it now! Lily Women (Expresso/Plum), Crocs
I also love T-strap flats. It makes my flat part of my feet unnoticeable :) Left: Butter T-strap flat, Heliana shoes (got it from a bazaar at Rockwell but check out their website for the rest of their awesome shoes: http://helianafootwear.multiply.com/ ) Right: Gray T-strap flat, Forever 21
During my recent trip to Australia, I also explored for shoes. I loved this shop called Factorie and It's one of the reasons why I want to go back there. They had awesome dresses and tops, also accessories and footwear. I bought most of my dresses and accessories there. Also, I got to visit Rubi shoes again and found awesome new shoes.
And I'm a sucker for ribbons. Shoes + ribbons = ♥
Left: Floral flat, Rubi shoes Right: Blue striped flat, Factorie
So, oxfords. I love oxfords too!
Gray oxfords, Michael Antonio shoes
Sneakers! Keds & Vans. But I haven't got myself some Vans so i'll stick with Keds first :) I bought one more pair of Keds during our recent trip to Australia. Actually, both of these are from Australia! My aunt bought the pink one there too! :)
Left: Pink and black striped champion canvas, Keds Right: Pink champion canvas original, Keds
I claim to own the photos up to this point. Sucky pictures I take :(
Some shoes are still on my wishlist heehee.
- Floral lace-ups gladiators. Similar to this:
I saw people wearing these shoes at Australia and i've been dying to find one. Unluckily, I haven't found any of these yet :(
I saw this on amazon and i'va also been dying to have one of these. It costs $40 but I'm still hoping to find something similar to this here in the Philippines.
Disclaimer: I do not own the two photos above. All from google images.
I just felt like doing a fashion-related post. :)

Land Down Under (1)- Melbourne, Australia!
So, let's talk about the title first, LAND DOWN UNDER, which is a term for AUSTRALIA because it is the only continent with a permanent population that is entirely below the equator.
We left the house at around 4:30am early morning last May 20, Wednesday, for our 8 hr flight to Sydney and then an hour flight to Melbourne. We arrived at the airport at around 6am and boarding time was around 8:30am since our flight was 9am.The 8 hr flight was sloooow. So slow. It was sucky especially there was no personal tvs and the tv was far from our seat and I didn't even bother watching. I mostly slept, ate and listened to music. Then finally, we arrived at Sydney leaving us with one more flight to Melbourne. Now to the worst part, our flight got delayed! Maybe for an hour. Not really delayed, but we are already in the plane when they said that there was zero visibility on the skies of Melbourne, since it was raining so hard there. So the plane went back on the gate while the cabin crew gave some snacks and refreshments. After an hour, our flight pushed through and arrived there at around 10- 11pm. My tito together with his wife and my tita gave us a warm welcome at the airport. I missed them so much! I just saw my tita last December when she went home for her yearly vacation here in the Philippines. But to my tito, I haven't seen him in two years! Both of them had been living in Melbourne for almost 20 years! This was their first time with my dad again to be together as siblings.
So going out at the airport... IT WAS FREEZING COLD! One layer of clothing was not enough, trust me. Melbourne was believed to have four seasons in one day!We went to my tito's house and got to see my cousins again. I can't believe they changed a lot! My cousins, namely Sarah, 16, & Renee, 12, had grew so much since the last time I saw them, which was two years ago! Sarah is now into fashion and Renee, too and she had grown so much!
Day 1!
So first day at Melbourne, we went to the city. Did a little shopping at Myer's and bought boots! and did some sightseeing. Also went to an art gallery since my sister wants to and it's free though haha. Then after, we walked to Eureka tower, the tallest skyscraper on all of Melbourne, to go to the viewing skydeck which has the view to almost the whole Melbourne! It was amazing! And we tried EDGE, it's somehow like a ride which you will be in a glass room in which you will see everything outside! It was so cool! And then after, we ate at a steakhouse and while we're finished eating, it rained so hard! We didn't have umbrellas with us an the cars are parked in a far location so we have to wait for the rain to stop. So far, day 1 was amazing! Here are some pictures!
Eureka tower! Sister dragged us to a gallery just to see Picasso's works =)) Edge was awesome! 88th floors above ground. Amazing view at the 88th floor from the viewing deck of Melbourne's tallest skyscraper, Eureka tower!
Day 2!
Two hour drive to Phillip Island. We stopped by for lunch at Amaze and Things which had a playground, picnic spots and mini-golf! My tita prepared Adobo and rice. I loved their Adobo oh my gosh. And then my cousins and my siblings and I went to the playground. After that, my tito offered me to play mini-golf, since he was an expert in golfing and why not give it a shot. I was getting the hang of it, until the rest showed up and my brother and dad golfed instead. It was really fun. And then we got gelato for dessert and went back to the road to go to the wildlife center. We arrived to the wildlife center and guess what, we are to feed kangaroos! We went searching for the kangaroos and then wallabies got in our way! Wallabies are just like kangaroos, just smaller. We fed some of them. And then we found the kangaroos! There were so much of them! A lot. They were all over! There are kangaroos following us and I fed a lot! There were this kangaroo who grabbed on to my hand! You can feel their teeth while they nibble to the food! And we also saw a kangaroo with a joey in it! Cute stuff. We go to the edge of the island to see some sealions at another small island. IT WAS SO COLD especially it was at the edge of the island. It was so windy. Gosh. And then we head to the Penguin Parade, an award-winning attraction in which small penguins come from the ocean and make their way to the beach and march down to their homes. It took so long till they arrived and it was so cold out! Until they arrived and there were a lot, and they arrive in packs and if they don't arrive with another penguin, they stop and wait for a penguin to come! They are so small! They are sometimes called the fairy penguins :) Then we head back to the road and stopped by a small street to eat Fish and Chips for dinner. And then back to the two hour drive going back. Fun and adventurous day! Here are some pictures :)
My tito and I went mini-golfing first until the rest showed up =)) It's a wallaby! My cousin feeding a kangaroo! Kangaroos kangaroos kangaroos. There were so much! This one's vain =))
It was cold okay =))))) Penguin! I don't think they arrive at 6:10pm sharp... =))
Day 3! Went to the Queen Victoria Market for some souvenir shopping and we met up with the Cruz family and we split up for some hours to go to Chadstone, the fashion capital of Melbourne. Some mall-hopping and ate at Mcdo for lunch. And we went to Direct Factory Outlets for a lot of shopping haha. Found these leather jacket from Ripcurl that's sale from it's original price of A$170 to A$20!! Can't resist to buy! And went back home and ate dinner there with the Cruz family.
Oh, dad. Haha.
Day 4!
Last day to explore Melbourne :( Went to go go-karting with my tito, my dad, my bro and my two cousins. The rest went shopping at a chemist warehouse. So, especially, me as a kart racer, I must try the go-kart track at Melbourne! It was cool, but the karts were a bit shaky, unlike the karts here in the Philippines and I'm bit used to the faster karts :) Not to brag but I overtook my brother and cousins and also my tito a lot of times =)) My dad finished 1st, and other two strangers who went karting with our group finished 2nd and 3rd while I finished 4th, then my tito 5th and the rest still finished haha. Then we went to Harbour town to do some shopping! When they said it was sale, they weren't kidding, it's like a super mega sale compared here. Well, I loved this shop called Factorie hehe. Also Typo! Love all their stationeries and school supplies! Gosh, I want to go back so bad! After shopping, we stopped by a church. God must always comes first! We stopped by at the F1 race track at Melbourne at Albert Park. It was a street track so it was open and we can go to the pit stops! We stopped there and took pictures. We are such huge fans of Formula 1! And then we stopped by to buy pizza and pasta to eat for dinner at my tito's house. Then that's day 4. Pictures!
I can't believe I'm actually at an actual F1 track! At the actual pit stops!! Went karting with my tito, my cousins, my dad and my bro.
Day 5!
Not much for this day. Got up early for our 12 hour drive to Sydney. 12 HOUR DRIVE. So the Cruz family arrived and it was kinda emotional before we left. I kinda cried because it had been so long since we saw each other. The last time I saw my tito and his family is like, 2 or 3 years ago. And the next time they'll go here is I guess 2 more years to go. So, i'm gonna miss them, since my tito was so sweet, especially he call his daughters, "Darling". I think it's cute and really sweet. So we hit the road. First stop is after 2 hours, at Mcdo & Subway. Just drank hot choco haha. Then next stop is at another mcdo, haay. Next stop is at a submarine at the middle of the highway haha. Then the next stop after another. Until we arrived Sydney. And that's another blog post to wait :)

So this is how my day went- 041411
So today, I started my day in being so lazy to get up to being productive. But this day wasn't really that good.
I got up at 10:45am to eat breakfast with my brother then took a bath at 11:15am. The hardest part on a non-school day is the picking out of clothes. Like, really. I consumed like, 20-30 mins in choosing clothes everyday. So I finally settled with a batch shirt and left at around 11:45am.
I arrived at Ateneo for my SEP (Summer Enrichment Program) at around 12:30pm. That's actually early for me to be there since my friend, Mika, was still not there. So I went to my first class, which is Geometry and sat there and waited for Mika.
So, Geometry class started. I don't really like our Geom teacher, since she teaches so fast and don't explain details thoroughly. We started with a new lesson, which is the Pythagorean Theorem and I was overwhelmed by that lesson since it involves RADICALS which I loved during my sophomore year. It's the first time for me and Mika to actually finish a worksheet completely all by ourselves, since it involved radicals and we love radicals haha. I miss algebra so much. Then went break time for Geom and we took pictures from my phone and it turned out good. Crappy though. Photography-like photos, huh. No... Hehe.
We're allowed to use calculators haha. I just wish we're allowed to use calculators at school. :|
See that guy wearing the blue and green stripes polo over there? We feel so bad for him. He's always alone and he's so quiet. He used to sit in front of us, but since these guys took his seat, he had to sit there, which his seatmate is absent. We want to be friends with him though. He's from Claret and he's the only Claretian in our class and he is surprisingly from the class which we had our 2nd year boy-girl interaction with. We want to be friends with him haha. So, we bought food and went to our Chemistry classroom after Geom. As usual, there's always a 'jamming session' at the back of the classroom and noisy, boisterous and flirtatious girls (I don't want to name people~) at the back with guys surrounding. Then we checked our homeworks and had new lessons. Bit confusing though. Then break and took pictures again hehe.
Then we ended with a seatwork with no one actually get it. Like, everyone was roaming around asking if other people get it. Then the bell rang and everybody shouted with joy haha.
Then I got home. Went online. Until my parents came home and my sister, too. My mom asked my brother if he also wants to race but not with the Cadet class- a class which there are kids racing- but instead, a class called Mini-ROK class- a class also for kids but with faster karts and it is the class which has the least number of racers. My brother will be having a free kart, since he had free sponsorship courtesy of Kilton. But since my brother is afraid of being fast or yet too fast, he said he'll pass on this race this weekend and just go with the next one on June.
Then dinner, delicious steak and my favorite, Cream of Mushroom soup! After that, my sister bugged my parents if she can go to this concert tomorrow night and it got annoying.
She followed my parents until to their bedroom and begged. She cried and then it got worse. She and my mom had some arguments involving personal stuffs and since me and my brother were there, we can't leave the room -it would be awkward- and their fight got worse and some involves our family and my sister. I feel kinda bad for my sister but my mom got a very huge point. My sister and mom were both crying and were shouting at each other.
I almost cried though. I was just scrolling down on tumblr, facebook and twitter. And I can't help but listen and relate. My eyes were teary. I don't like seeing them fighting like this. It's been the second time. I just want to have a peaceful, happy family. Damn.
My dad entered and asked them to stop arguing. Then I asked my dad to help me with my SEP Geometry homework, which I do not get either, and I finally get it. Hahaha.
This day was one of the worst and I don't like seeing my family like this. I wish all of this will change on our family trip to Australia. Lots and lots of family bonding.
I also have a small chance of going to Miley Cyrus' concert here in Manila. Haaay :(
Pictures taken by me, from my iPhone.
EDIT: The hand on the third picture is Mika's hand =)) And some pictures were taken by Mika. HAPPY, MIKA? loljk.

So, concerts.
I am a music lover myself and I really want to see my favorite bands in person.
I got to cross PARAMORE off the list since I went to their concert last year (March 9, 2010 at MOA Concert Grounds) here in the Philippines and I'm looking forward to seeing them again here, once they release another album and start another album tour! or why not just have a concert here? Paramore had been my all time favorite band and still is.
Even though they are only 3 left, Paramore still remains. And my cousin also loves them! Looking forward to see my real cousins again after two years :)
Next, I really loved THE SCRIPT lately. I really liked their music. I also want to see them in concert but since the day of their concert (April 16, 2011) is that we'll be out of town for my Batangas race so I can't go. The Script is definitely one of my favorite bands.
Next in line, MAROON 5. This is one concert I got to see. Already got tickets (Gold-B baby!) for their concert here in Manila on May 23 at the SMX Convention Center and I'm very excited! I love their music even if it's just lately but there's so much to love on their music. I blame my sister for playing Maroon 5 songs every night haha.
Lastly, MILEY CYRUS. I'm not really a big Miley fan but Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana were a big part of my childhood and were my obsession haha, and I really want to see Miley Cyrus in person way back then. Well, this is my chance! June 17, 2011 @ MOA Concert Grounds. I just need 5K for Gold-A tix and i'm set hihi.
Maybe you're wondering I don't have JB on this list, is because I don't like Bieber haha. Not really, but I like him and Selena together haha.
This is something to look forwards towards the middle to the end of summer :)
DISCLAIMER: I don't own the pictures posted with this post. Pictures from facebook, tumblr and flickr.

Well, to start, I had and still having a busy schedule during this summer. - I'm currently taking up voluntary summer classes at Ateneo that's called SEP (Summer Enrichment Program) for a head start for the incoming school year and to have a productive summer :)
- Then, this upcoming weekend (April 16-17), I'll be having my 2nd race which will be held at the Batangas Racing Circuit at Rosario, Batangas. I'll be blogging about that :)
- Also, I'll be missing The Script Live In Manila 2011 :(( I really love The Script, but since we'll be on Batangas that day, I can't go :(
- Then Monday to Tuesday, my last two days of summer class (it's actually up to April 26) because our flight to Sydney, Australia is already on Wednesday. Something to look up for the summer. We'll be staying there for two weeks. Sydney, Melbourne and Goldcoast. I can't wait!!
May 2011. I'm looking forward to a lot of hangouts with my friends and also baking classes. :)
